What is Alzheimer's disease?
Alzheimers disease is a brain disorder that causes the brain to go through a serious type of dementia to the brain. This causes the person to have serious memory loss and leads to an inability to do simple, everyday tasks. Alzheimers is the sixth-leading cause of death in the United States and the only cause of death among the top 10 in the United States that cannot be prevented, cured or even slowed.

The Walk to End Alzheimers
The Walk to End Alzheimers is an annual event hosted by the Alzheimers Association that brings awareness to the irreversible disease that plagues five million people in the United States. The mission of this walk is to eliminate the disease through research to find ways to prevent it from happening. The hope of this walk is to eventually see a world without Alzheimers disease.
