Journalism

What is Journalism?

Journalism is one of the many elective courses HTLA offers. In the Journalism elective, students are given the opportunity to let their creative juices flow. While not only designing and putting together the yearbook for each school year, students will write articles of their choice to publish to HTLA's very own digital newspaper, The HTLA Circuit. They are given the freedom to follow their creative passions. While some students may enjoy writing, others work better visually. The Journalism course also allows special access to the Studio. The Studio contains multiple recording booths, computers installed with editing equipment, and camera equipment. Students work together to create podcasts, music, documentaries, short films, newscasts, and more.
