We hope that you are enjoying your summer, and we can't wait to welcome you to campus this fall! HTLA will return to 100% in-person, on campus instruction on Tuesday, August 17th, 2021. School starts at 8:45 am.
11th and 12th grade students will receive their school issued materials including textbooks and a Microsoft Surface Tablet the first week of school. Class schedules will be available on the first day of school.
10th Grade Bootcamp: We were thankful to have offered a Virtual Boot Camp before school started last year, but we know that students missed out not being able to be on campus. Because of this, we would like to offer an optional mini in-person Boot Camp for 10th graders on Monday, August 9th from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm. We ask that parents not come inside the school due to social distancing guidelines, but we will have a table set up on our front patio to answer any questions and sell HTLA hoodies and polos. During Boot Camp students will get to know their classmates, tour the campus, meet teachers and staff, and receive their school issued materials including textbooks and a Microsoft Surface Tablet. Students will receive their class schedule on the first day of school.
9th Grade Bootcamp: It is MANDATORY for all incoming 9th grade students to attend Boot Camp on Monday, August 9th AND Tuesday, August 10th from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. Parents can drop off and pick up students in the Victory Parking Lot. We ask that parents not come inside the school due to social distancing guidelines, but we will have a table set up on our front patio to answer any questions and sell HTLA hoodies and polos. Enrollment Packet:
The full Enrollment Packet for the 2021-2022 school year including the Emergency Card, Tablet Contract, Free/Reduced Lunch Application, etc, will be emailed to you by the end of next week. All forms will be completed and submitted online.
Dress Code:
Students must be in HTLA uniform on the first day of school. Masks are mandatory during the school days.

Bell Schedule and Before/After School:
Since HTLA will return to 100% in-person, on campus instruction, our normal school day will be 8:45 am - 3:50 pm Monday - Friday. Our campus opens daily at 7:30 am and closes at 5:00 pm. Students who come early and/or stay late will need to be in a classroom supervised by a teacher. This is a free program.

Lastly, we are so excited to announce that Colleen Molina, HTLA's former Assistant Principal has been named our new principal! Ms. Molina has been part of the HTLA community since 2008, and has been an aid, teacher, Director of Special Education, and Assistant Principal.
