Community College Classes:

  • Take college level classes while in high school. (These are free to high school students!)
  • Choose a class that is interesting to you!
  • Choose wisely because this class will stay on your college transcript forever!

    Pierce College: http://www.piercecollege.edu/schedules/index.asp
  • Step 1: Apply online at LACCD

http://www.laccd.edu/Students/opencccapply/Pages/default.aspx. Student will receive a “Student ID” number 5-10 business days after application is processed via email.

  • Step 2: Fill out K-12 Supplemental Application online (https://www.lavc.edu/admissions/library/docs/K-12-Form-(1).pdf), have your parent sign the form, and then email the form to Mr. McClenahan at mr.mcclenahan@ht-la.org with the subject line “K-12 Supplemental Application.” Mr.M will sign the form and email it back to you.
  • Step 3: Once you receive the signed form, go to Pierce College’s website and access Cranium Cafe, use the Canvas icon to log in using your student ID and talk live with and Admissions and Records Assistant; you will upload your form there and it will be processed immediately.
